2025 Provincial Indoor Team Tryouts

Girls - Tryouts will be held at Three Oaks Senior High on Friday, April 18th and Saturday, April 19th.   Tryouts will be held in the morning with exact times to be determined once final registration numbers are received.

Boys - Tryouts will be held at Stonepark Junior High on Friday, April 18th and Monday, April 21st.   Tryouts will be held in the morning from 9am-11am.

All athletes born on January 1, 2008 and later are welcome to attend the tryouts.   Cost for both sessions is $30/athlete.   All athletes must be recreational or competitive members with Volleyball PEI for the 2024-2025 season.

Further Details on our Provincial Team Program:

Volleyball PEI coaches will be selecting up to 3 girls teams and up to 3 boys teams following tryouts to attend the Eastern Elite Volleyball Championships in Moncton, NB on July 17-19th.   

The age divisions for the Eastern Elite Championship are 15U and 16U however we will also look to take 14U teams as well and have a few overage athletes  (pending athlete numbers/athlete skill level).

Teams will be selected following the tryouts process and will practice 2x a week starting the week of May 25th at Holland College gym in Charlottetown.  Teams will also cross-train on the sand at the Beach Volleyball Courts at Credit Union Place in Summerside bi-weekly. 

The approximately cost for our Provincial Team program for these age groups will be $850-900/player.    This cost will include all training, gym and beach court rentals, uniforms, travel via bus, hotel accomodations, registration for tournament, player VPEI clothing package, coach honorariums, etc.    The only other cost athletes will have is there food at the Eastern Elite Championships.

FYI:  All teams will travel via bus and stay as a group in a local Moncton area hotel (TBD).
