Beat the Heat Beach Volleyball Camp

Beat the Heat beach volleyball camp is returning to PEI in 2020. Established in 2011, Beat the Heat's sole purpose has been to grow and foster the sport of beach volleyball in Atlantic Canada. Now, in its 10th year with over 500 attended athletes, Beat the Heat is Atlantic Canada's largest and longest running beach volleyball camp. Beat the Heat's founder, Andrew Costa, is a native of PEI hailing from Summerside. Andrew is a former Team PEI Canada Games beach alumnus who finished 5th back in 2009.  Since competing as an athlete, Andrew has continued to grow his coaching resume by becoming a certified High-Performance beach volleyball coach (former Level III) and has coached beach volleyball at three Canada Games (2013 - Team PEI, 2017 - Team NS - Silver medalists. 2021 - Team NS).
