YOUTH BEACH VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENTS:
Who: All Volleyball PEI recreational members born 2006-2009
What: Doubles (2 vs.2) beach volleyball tournament. Co-ed division.
Dates: Sunday, June 25th, Saturday, July 8th, Sunday, August 6th (14U only), Sunday, August 13th, Saturday, August 26th and Sunday, August 27th
Where: Terry Fox Complex Beach Courts in Cornwall
Times: 9am-3pm on Saturdays and Sundays; 5:30-8:30pm on Wednesdays.
Cost: $20/player per event. Both team players must register individually.

Women's Beach Volleyball Tournaments
Event Dates: June 24th, July 1st, July 15th, July 22nd, August 5th and August 12th, 2023!
Location: Beach Volleyball Courts at the Terry Fox Complex in Cornwall
Who: 2-player teams (females 16 years of age and older) who are members of Volleyball PEI
Prizes: Cash prizes given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place at each tournament!
Only 10 teams maximum accepted per event! Register now!
Cost: $20/player ($40/teams) per event.
To Register: Email: hickeyek@gmail.com with your team information (Both team member's names and contact info). Once you register via email you will be given the email address to send an etransfer for $40 to ($20 x 2 team players)
Reminder: You must have your VPEI recreational player membership to register in the events. If you played Sr. Women's or Sr. Men's league or Club or Spring League volleyball already this season, you already have it!

2023 Volleyball Canada Beach Nationals
January 26, 2023 – Volleyball Canada is proud to announce the 2023 Beach Nationals details. The open events will be held in Toronto from August 18 - 20 and Vancouver from August 25 - 27.
The Ashbridges Bay, Toronto, Youth and Senior Beach Nationals will offer boys and girls 14U-19U as well as a Senior Men’s and Senior Women’s division. The Youth Beach Nationals, held in Spanish Banks East, Vancouver, will include three youth age divisions, boys and girls 14U-16U.
“The 2023 Beach Nationals are to feature some of the best athletes in Canada including current National Team members,” says Sandra de Graaff, Volleyball Canada’s Director of Domestic Competitions. “We are excited to continue our expanded Beach Nationals event series this summer and to welcome athletes from across the country.”
Toronto Aug 18 to 20 Tournament Schedule:
August 17 – Athlete Check in and Practice Time
August 18 - 19 – Pool Play
August 20 – Playoffs and Award Ceremonies
Vancouver Aug 25 to 27 Tournament Schedule:
August 24 – Athlete Check in and Practice Time
August 25 - 26 – Pool Play
August 27 – Playoffs and Award Ceremonies
Medals will be awarded for all age-groups for each event. The Championship Tier medalists of the Senior Championship will be awarded a minimum purse of $15,000. Additionally, a new Club Champion award will be launched for clubs who are represented at Beach Nationals. Clubs will accrue points based on results across each age group. The club with the most points will earn the rights to be called the Club Champion for the year.
The University & College Beach National Championships will be running for its second time ever later in 2023. This event will allow University and College beach volleyball players a chance to represent their post-secondary institutions in high level competition. More details will be released at a later date.
Registration details for Beach Nationals will be released in the coming months.
