Kensington Volleyball Camp 2025

 

Tuesday August 26th to Friday August 29th at Kensington Intermediate Senior High School.

 

Athletes entering grade 7-9:  9:00 am to 11:30 pm - $125/person

 

Athletes entering grade 10-12:  12:30 pm to 3:00 pm - $125/person

 

The camp will focus on individual skills and team play, including:

 

Overhand Serving

Attack

Blocking

Passing

Defense

Setting

Team offense/defense

Reading Cues

Lead Instructor:  Richard Younker

 

Richard Younker brings 25 years of coaching experience to the camp.  He is an advanced development coach who has coached at the junior high school, senior high school, club, and university levels.  A two time VPEI coach of the year winner, Richard has had tremendous success coaching the Kensington Torchettes women’s volleyball team, reaching the provincial finals seven times, winning the AAA championship in 2017.

 

Every year, the Kensington Volleyball Camp brings in special guest instructors from around the region.  This year, we are pleased to announce that Derrick Brooks, Jordan Brooks, and Laura Ready will be instructors for this year’s camp.  Each coach brings decades of experience coaching at the high school and university level.
