FAQ's
Does my child need previous volleyball experience?
No! Grassroots programs are designed for athletes of all experience levels, including those trying volleyball for the first time.
What should my child bring
Comfotable athletic clothing, clean indoor shoes, a waterbottle and kneepads are a bonus!
Can my child register with a friend?
|
Absolutely. Friends are encouraged to participate together! While we can’t always guarantee specific groupings, our coaches will do their best to create a fun and welcoming environment for everyone. |
What if I register my child for the wrong program?
No problem. Volleyball PEI may move athletes between programs to ensure they are in the program best suited to their developmental stage.
When does Grassroots Volleyball run?
Volleyball PEI aims to offer two Grassroots program blocks throughout the calendar year, with each block typically running for 8–10 weeks. As a small provincial sport organization, our ability to offer programming is dependent on staffing and facility availability, so dates and locations may vary from year to year.
Why can’t I find the program on the Events Registration page?
If a Grassroots program is not listed on our Events Registration page, it is likely full or has already started. Registration opportunities are removed once a program reaches capacity or registration has closed. If you’re unsure, please contact Volleyball PEI and we’d be happy to confirm availability or let you know about upcoming programs.
